Continuance by Kaha:wi Dance Theatre

Honoured to be a part of this project, directed by Santee Smith of Kaha:wi Dance Studio, and bringing the projection component to life at the Woodland Cultural Centre, formerly known as the "Mohawk Institute". “Continuance - Yonkwa'nikonhrakontáhkwen / Our Consciousness Continues Unchanged” multimedia performance is an embodiment of resilience. Artistic Director Santee Smith’s vision for the Grand Act of Theatre is to illuminate an antithetic experience from the intended purpose by the architects of the Residential School. The 142 year history of the school did not destroy cultural perpetuity. Encoded within Haudenosaunee iconographies are meaningful ways to live in the world with balanced harmony to which society can looked to for guidance.

A Christmas Story

This is one of our dream projects and at the same time one of or biggest challenges up to date: coming up with an original story to celebrate Christmas season on a unique canvas, the walls of Malaga's Alcazaba. Over 700,000 visitors, 3 shows a day for 40 days in a row. CWe love creating content for kids and this was the perfect opportunity to practice every creative skill we know: writing, storyboarding, designing characters, rigging, hand painting textures and finally joining all the pieces with heavy animation. The story was about finding your own light, even if the world around us seems to have forgotten what is truly important we have to find the light within us and share it with the world.
